Steven Kravitz, DPM, FAPWH is a distinguished leader in the field of podiatric medicine, known for his significant contributions as the founder of the Academy of Physicians in Wound Healing, Assistant Professor, at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, and many other leadership roles involved in vascular disease and wound healing.

His legacy has been instrumental in advancing the standards of care for patients with complex wounds, emphasizing the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration and education in wound management.

During his tenure, the Academy has fostered a community of healthcare professionals dedicated to improving patient outcomes and expanding wound healing practices. Dr. Kravitz's legacy is not only with APWH, but includes founding other professional organizations as well as serving on the faculty at Temple University School of Podiatry Medicine.
