Senate bill 2175 and APWH letter

The Academy of Physicians in Wound Healing (APWH) sent this letter to the Senate on May 31, 2016 supporting the passage of Bill S. 2175. The bill had previously passed with approval by the House and now needs Senate approval before implementation. The intent of the Bill is to have payment parity and to remove the discrepancy between podiatric physician and allopathic physician compensation in the US Veterans Association health care delivery system. The correspondence describes a solid rationale for the passage of this legislation.
