The annual APWH Symposium goes LIVE and IN PERSON for 2023!  Join us in Philadelphia for a weekend of learning, networking, and fun that is open to everyone on the Wound Care Team.  Designed to help bridge the gap in new wound care techniques, communication, and new improved products/ services to aid in the healing process.

The Symposium will also be LIVE virtually.  If you can’t join us in Philadelphia, there is a LIVE VIRTUAL option that you can choose.  Which means that there is no replay or recordings.  You will join live in the comfort of your home or office.  You must choose live in person or live virtual when you register. 

 

Who should attend

This activity is designed for Dermatologists, Family Medicine/Primary Care Physicians, Podiatrists, Vascular Surgeons, other physicians (MD, DO), prescribing authority (NP, PA), Nursing, (RN, LPN) with a specialty in wound care.

Learning objectives

  • Describe state of the art standards of care in wound management
  • Recognize, differentiate different types of non-healing wounds, including atypical and malignant wounds.
  • Implement new modalities and devices for wound management.
  • Discuss appropriate wound management protocols.
  • Explain the advantages of collaborating with various specialties in wound management to optimize wound healing.
